My wife and I are hard at work transforming our yard into something special for us. Alot of low maintiance plants for her.. yesterday she actually was complaining that they were too low maintance. And for me, well I am trying to bring a little bit of the south up north. I really am not homesick, but sure am looking foward to getting blackberries in the ground next year. This year we have planted strawberries, fought with a black walnut for control of our yard, and started varigated virginia creeper and boston ivy on opposite ends of the house.
Next year is our year of vines, berries and shurbs.. but we tend to change plans daily so other the a long range vision of were we are headed nothing is ever set in stone.
