I nearly plotzed when I was sniffing around the plant racks at Horrocks, a
local grocery and nursery store. Stuffed in the shelves were tons
of Hakanechloas. they look like albas, and alba striatas. They had two
sizes, big about a quart and smaller about 1/2 quart. Not expensive
either.
I would be willing to make a trip to Grand Rapids if anyone wanted some
of this grass and buy it for them. I would do it for cost of gas, shared
amongst you.
I don't know if they have any more left, but I would be willing to take a
chance and see. I would not feel good calling as they have all Mexicans
working there and they don't speak one word of English. But they water
the plants well and take care of them well also.
I think the quart size was about $15 and the smaller about 8 or $9.
I had bought two and they are gorgeous, doing quite well.
I could also remove them from heavy pots and ship with root balls.

sheri
I will try to put my phone number on my plant trading information
