I had my house rehabbed and threw away 2 old carpets. They were only held down along the edges with double-sided carpet tape. How in the world do I remove the hardened adhesive left there without damaging the finish to the floor?
I tried WD-40 but it didn't work.
I am going shopping for a small rug today, perhaps a 4X6 but I am loving the looks of the pine tongue-and-groove floors.
try avon skin so soft. works on most adhesives. put it on and let it sit over night. i would test it in a corner or something first to make sure it doesn't hurt the finish.
