good grief! I've turned the a/c up to 75-76F, but I don't know what else to do. My first e-bill was around $75 (I figured from not living here a whole month). It seemed like a while in between bills, but the second one was over $600! Holy cow! I had the a/c on 72F or so, not home during the day, radio on and one lamp. I have an electric fence up, but I can't believe it uses that much electricity.

Any suggestions short of cutting the a/c off completely? I've got two cats and a dog inside, so that's not really an option. Good grief that's a lotta electricity!
