Hope you don't mind the intrusion. Here's a heart I made years ago for my sweetheart. Not too bad for taking a beveled heart and working outward from it. Fun !

The ellipse and surround of Baroque glass, border of Glue Chip and frame of driftwood was for a friend at the cabin.

Intrude all you like Balvenie. I always love your work no matter which medium you use.

Lovely pieces.

Did you grind your own bevels on the first piece?
The corner inside bevels are very unusual.

Balvenie, just perfectly beautiful. The glass you used for the heart is really cool! And ,oh my, love the rustic look of the driftwood frame, perfect for a cabin setting,

Scooter, the bevels are off-the-shelf pieces. Wish bevels weren't so costly because I love the way they add so much to a piece. The beach at our cabin is loaded with beautiful driftwood and pieces of wood that have been washed and made smooth by waves and sand. Beach-combing is such an enjoyable way to spend the day.

Such beautiful pieces. I love the subtle combinations of glass in the piece with the oval...and all are so perfect with the weathered wood texture.

I always enjoy seeing how different the results are when similar materials are used by different artists. There's no end to the possibilities!
