We have a full-sun, west-facing area next to our house that is too steep to mow.
It's approximately 12 feet wide and about 20 feet long.
I would like to use low-maintenance perennials.
Has anyone done this and what plants are suggested?
We live in Zone 5b in lower Michigan.

You might try the Garden Design forum instead--this one tends to be more questions about hardscape, pools, etc
