Anyone use them? How have they worked for you? I plugged a couple in last Monday. I have seen fewer spiders, and no earwigs, since then, but they're not all gone. The spiders in the basement weren't bothered by the repellers, so I sprayed them. I know you're supposed to give them at least a couple of weeks to work. Spiders are stupid, and it might take them a while to give up and leave.
Mine cycles too, and I havent had ONE of those monsterous 2 inch long Palmetto/Water Bug Cockroaches since I got it 3 yrs ago..Prior to that we were inundated with them..
I've used them for several years now and they do work,
and work very well. This is a 2400 Sq. ft. house, and
I have found that you need to use one in each corner
room, and one in the center of the house.
I'm in Texas, where there are tons of bugs of every size.
This summer, I have had to kill two very confused beetles
that were in the middle of the room. That's it.
If these are the same as the ones we have in Australia (and I do believe they are the same), if there is ANYTHING between the 'bug' and the repeller (like a chair etc), it won't work. That is why they suggest you have one in every cornor and cover all angles. If (and when) the 'bugs' come out in the open, the repeller will do its job given a little time. Unfortunately if the bugs 'hide' behind things then it will be safe to live another day!! Good luck :-) Lee

Sorry - accidently sent this twice and don't know how to delete the second one!!!!! :-) Lee
I gave up on mine and called the exterminator. They're not much good if they only work in "line of sight." Mine said that they used the house electrical system to work. I assumed since it was sonic that it would work within earshot of the bugs.
Anyway, got tired of living in Arachnophobia out take, so I called the exterminator, and I'm going to have him come back every two months. I have seen a couple webs, and I did see one tiny live spider, but so far that's it. I'm still afraid to go down into the basement, but I have ventured into the garage to grab stuff out of boxes.
The exterminator said the infestation was so bad in the basement that he was "walking through webs."
Eeee!
And a coworker got bit by a brown recluse and had to be hospitalized recently. I'm just glad that none of the spider bites I woke up with were of the poisonous variety. One I don't know about, though. It was obviously a bite, but the redness and swelling spread about 4-5 inches from the bite.
