I've ordered some heirloom seeds from Victory Seeds (http://www.victoryseeds.com/). I suppose they'll keep over winter until I can start them? They'll come in envelopes packed in sealed (zip lock) plastic bags, which I will then put in a closed metal tin and keep in my basement. Is there anything else I need to do to keep my little treasures safe and healthy until I'm ready to start them?
