I'm paranoid, I admit it. My DH & I did a wonderful job on wallpapering our bathroom. We did the right thing, by what I had read - to put a primer down first. We let it dry for 2 days with a fan running in the room & didn't take showers. We put the papers up, matching all the edges well & the seams met quite well. A few I wasn't happy with, they didn't lay quite right somehow. Anyhow, I'm worried that these seams might get weak over time. Is that possible? Can I buy something to seal them with?
Thanks ahead of time for the info. Y'all are great to come get help from & I absoloutely love DG!
You primed it or you sized it? I hope you used sizing not primer. I've used good old Elmer's glue if I have had trouble with seams laying flat after the wallpaper has dried. The kind that comes in a round tube like thing and is solid. Mine was purple and dried clear.
Oh, then just use some Elmer's glue and use a wet paper towel to smooth and see if they stay down. Or if you have one of those seam rollers, use that, but make sure you wipe off the excess glue. You might have to work an area at a time, holding pressure till it stays.
