is there anyone that could recommend someone to finish a chimney?anyone that you know of that has a good reputation and does a good job and not that exspensive?i need to get this done before the winter gets here and would love to hear from others around here that they had a good exsperience with.thxs so much for helping.

Do you have Angie's List in your area? It's a good place to get reco's for local contractors. Or there may be some sort of organization that rates contractors--out here we have a program called "Diamond Certified" where they call tons of people who've hired those contractors and then rate them based on the feedback and publish the names of companies who "pass". That particular program is unique to this area, but it's likely that your area has something similar under a different name.
