1. Wash clothes with cold water, does the job and takes less energy.
2. Remove wrappers on bar soaps to store them, the air does something to firm up the soap making it last longer once you use it in the shower (plus it makes the linen closet smell divine!)
3. Use only 1/2-3/4 cup of the liquid clothes washing soaps, you will find your clothes still come out clean.
