I love pigs too! Both alive and as ham! Welcome lee! You will have a blast on here meeting new people and drooling over everyone's gardens. And pets!

Hi roadrunner and pepper23. Thanks for your welcome. Personally I don't like to eat pigs, but collect them (not live pigs - my husband would kill me!). I actually have over 800 different pigs in and around the house. Yes roadrunner we are in our winter season at the moment, but we would like heaps more rain as it has been very dry here over the last 3 years. We have been on water restrictions for 2 years and it doesn't look like changing in the future.
I already have been 'drooling' over the gardens that people have produced. I don't think mine will ever end up half as good as most of them!!!! But I will always be trying - even when the plants keep dying!!!!!

You should go "borrow" a pot bellied pig and tell your husband that is your new pet. Then when he starts to hyperventilate then you say just kidding!!

been there done that, and nearly had divorce after 27 years marriage. All over a Pig. Go figure!!!!!
He's just got no sense of humour when it comes to pigs - either non-living or living. He complains as there are so many in and around the house. Reckons he can't even have time in the 'reading room' without a pig watching him!!!! Supper sensative or what!!!!!!

Well... next time you get in a fight, drive to the nearest pig farm and throw him in the pen full of mud!!! Nah, just kidding! I think he would kill everyone in site if you did that. Personally I would laugh my head off but then I'm crazy anyways!!!

She was a fun type person...what a great time we had. I'll have to point you to our "escapades" in the early days here in The Garden. Jo

Hi Jo
No I have only discovered this site a week or so ago and although some believe I have escaped from the loony assilium (can't spell either), I am not the person to whom you are refering to. Think its great. (This site not the funny farm). Having a fun time especially in the various forums. As if I don't have enough to do in one day!!! I don't know who Wonder-down-under is. Do you have any information on her - where she lives etc.

PS) How's the 'Bunny Costume"? Enough about that - don't want to start gossip now!!!! LOL

They finally made it back? That's great! My sis sent me an email that a guy on there had sent out and he had mentioned that they were there alot longer than they were supposed to be and he didn't know when they were going to make it back home. I never did hear that they made it back so thanks for that info. I had been wondering and worrying a bit.
