I am new to Oregon and new to gardening. I have such a HUGE desire to learn and become a gardener!! Is there anyone who knows of a garden club that would love to take a young sappling like myself under their wing? Please let me know. Thanks,

Here is a link to the Oregon State Federated Clubs. You would be in the Capitol District. While somewhat more formal, State affiliation provides liability insurance for club activities (for example plant sales that the club holds). Hope this helps.

If you enjoy and love iris there is a super club in Salem. Oregon Trail Iris Society.

We will be having a potluck and auction on Aug 26th and on Sept 16 a big rhizome and plant sale in Woodburn at Al's Garden Center
