Moths? Get a bug zapper! Can you describe the bugs? It might help us identify them and make a solution easier to find.

Are they little tiny moths with a pointy nose, kind of brown and inside the apartment?

mealmoths!!!

i had a huge infestation of them. they eat things like flour, noodles, sugar, crackers..and they can get through unopened packaging.

i got rid of them by

1. throwing all my food away
2. killing by hand every bug i found including the ones in cocoons attached to everything in the house like corners, mattresses, etc
3. cleaning all surfaces with 409
4. putting ALL new food in airtight (not screwtop, they can get in, ziplock works) bags
5. continuing to kill every single one i saw

this went on for several months. the initial cleaning/killing took an entire saturday. they are awful bugs and hard to get rid of. but it's possible. i did it.

meal moths.

I work in a grocery store where we sell grains and flours loose in bulk bins. We do attach bay leaves to the insides of the bins, and it does seem to work if changed often.

Cedar and lavender will also do the trick, as well as patchouli, I believe. I keep a few cedar blocks with lavender essential oil added in the garment bag with my kilt.
