some of you may have already seen these...they were posted on the rose forum. they were done some years ago when I was working on a degree in information science management and got way too involved in my art classes.

did a series of these florals in my garden...DH had 3 of them framed for me when I graduated. I'll try to get some more pics later

remember...STUDENT

Gram, these pieces of art are really fine work. I'd be happy to have them hanging on my walls. Especially the first one, and the teacher's favorite. You're good!

Well, thank you all so much ((blush)). not sure where the rest of them are. I will post more when I find them. I took art classes specifically so I could do watercolors of my garden. almost didn't graduate because of it. had to re-do my degree program (in Information Sciences Management...you know...computers) and change my degree from a BS to a BPS (bachelor of professional studies) because I didn't have enough liberal arts credits. I think the watercolor works for me because I've never really worked in another medium.

well, to borrow some words from the renowned artist Gary D Rankin, y'all are too kind! I've wanted to grow foxgloves ever since I painted those and haven't had a whole lot of luck. Just planted some more this week, so maybe next year :0)

lol @ renowned :))

That's cool . . . I recently planted some coral colored Foxgloves here too . . . they were on the discount rack begging someone to take them home and water them. One didn't make it, but the other one is looking really healthy. Hopefully we'll both have some nice blooms to paint next season? :)

lulu, thanks for stopping by. I haven't painted in years, but I really want to again. I retired in May so I should have the time now. I've been so busy getting the new rose garden going, but if I can't this summer...next year for sure! when I do, I'll post pics :) thanks for the encouragement...jan
