Has anyone watched Ms. Martha Stewart demonstate this technique of folding t-shirts?

[HYPERLINK@video.yahoo.com]

After watching her AND this foreign clip I still can't get it! Guess I'm hopeless. LOL.

Hmmmm very interesting. Not like I fold my dh's T shirts though. I fold his like the military do. Due to lack of space the t shirts are folded and rolled. That way they all lay right close together in the drawer or duffle bag.

The T shirts are folded in half lenghwise from the neck. This way the sleeves are right together. Then you fold the sleeves over to the inside. Then starting from the neck band you just roll them down.

That's a good method. Keeps things from getting bunched up and wrinkled in the drawer I bet.

That was great! How'd she do that? I gotta see that again.

I used to work in a clothes store that sold t shirts. We'd have to follow customers around and neaten up the shelves after them. They taught us how to fold a shirt so in the end, it looked like the one in the video, but it wasn't as clever as that!

I just fold my shirts in half, then half again. Quick. Easy.

Sofie,

Oh I feel for the retailers out there. I am so careful not to leave a mess of clothes behind when I shop, and will refold them (however not as simply as the video!) to how they were if I unfold them.

Yay Tir! Good for you. On the behalf of minimum wage retail clothes store employees everywhere, I thank you.

I started folding shirts like that last year after seeing it on Martha Stewart. I liked it because I didn't get the crease down the middle. However, I found that it took more time so I reverted back to my old, lazy way. I do still use that method for my more dressy t-shirts though.
