Just received some seeds from and I was wondering if you could tell me how far apart should the seedlings be planted? Do you eat this or is it a butterfly/cat host plant?
In your picture, are those buds or actual blooms? plantfiles lists the flowers as tall red stalks.

I'm glad you had a picture of this plant.

I just grow it for the foliage. It's a repeat bloomer and the flowers you see in this pic aren't as showy as they were there first time blooming during the season.
I didn't grow mine from seed so I can't help you with how far apart they need to be, Sorry.
The plant self sows in my garden but not to the point of being invasive.

Good luck growing these, they a really lovely plants.
