I purchased 2 sprinkler hoses to lay around the narrow gardens on the side of the house. They have about 1/2 the # of holes as I expected or remembered from my old ones. Have you ever 're-holed' this type of sprinker?

I would try turning the water on with the hose as is first and see if the water's going where you want it--I assume they designed the hose to give full water coverage from the holes that are there, and if you don't get that then I would return the hose rather than trying to poke more holes in it.
