Planted this thinking it was kin to Elephant ear. It has the large leaves, and unfortunately I didn't get the name down in the book. I left it in the ground, north side (zone 6), over the winter. So expected that it wouldn't come up this spring. It did and so now I know it not to be of the elephant ear. The bloom stalk comes up with the blooms in a pod, then they spill out in a cluster. I've not seen the roots as I bought it as a plant. Lastly I know it to be a shade loving plant. Any help would be wonderful. :-)
