Hi all. We made it back from our trip to Scotland a couple of days ago. Trip was wonderful, temps in the low 60's most days. I'm going to post a couple of pics from the trip and hopefully before too long, I'll have a couple of new watercolors to add. Hope eveyone has stayed cool while I was away! This is a picture of Eilean Donan Castle in the highlands, near the Isle of Skye. It's my favorite castle.

I just loved the atmospheric quality of this picture. It's looking out over Loch Linnhe. I don't want to bore eveyone, so I'll stop with these two, but I think Scotland is the most beautiful place I've ever been and I've travelled a lot. It seems that around every curve there is another post card quality photo to be taken. I could become a one woman advertising campaign for them.

What a dunce I am. I attached the wrong picture for Loch Linnhe. Here's the correct one. Sorry about that.

If it's possible to miss a place you've never been to,
this would be it.

Your photos are almost painfully beautiful. When I win the Lotto,
I'm going to Scotland.

I haven't decided on which pic to try first. We have some really good ones of Roslyn Chapel (from DaVinci Code fame) and of Dumfermline Abbey that are maybes. I've been catching up with Grandkids the past few days and hope to get started painting early this coming week. I'll keep y'all posted and I really appreciate all the interest everyone shows to all the artisits on this site. I was a little hesistant to post anything at first, but eveyone is very kind in their comments. Thanks.

Just gorgeous! Bet it was wonderful to get away. I only wish I could have stowed away in your luggage but you know how strict they are on air travel lately! LOL.
