Hi, Stephanotis,

I have found you photo of the gibasis geniculata, it is gorgeous.
I have also gibasis geniculata, I took a cutting half a year ago from a plant similar to yours. It is very easy to propagate, but it is very difficult to make a full plant like yours. I tried pinching the tops, and it branches, but not in the way to make a full plant fast. I also tried planting a few cuttings in the same pot, but it is also slow.

Do you know:
how long does it take to make a full and well foliated plant?
Is there a trick to make it faster?

Another question: as your nick suggests, you may like stephanotis. Me too! My big stephanotis plant has a mango like seed pod from the last summer. When will it ripe?

I hope you will find some time to reply to me.

My best regards, Nina (Croatia, Europe)

Does anyone know if this plant is dangerous or toxic to cats? My husband gave me one for my birthday in May 2009 and it is still perfect and gorgeous( after much neglect I'm sorry to say) I live in Minnesota. Tahitian Bridal Veil, Variegated Wandering Jew

According to the ASPCA, it's not toxic to cats or dogs http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/poison-control/plants/gibasis_...
