HELP! We live in Ma. We have a grass in our lawn (alot and growing) that has been identified as "creeping bent grass. We have been told there is not herbicide etc to get rid of it since it is not a weed. It is horrible because it looks a little green on top but when mowed it is brown to the ground so the lawn looks like we have a fair amount of brown patches. We were told the only way to remedy this is to kill the entire lawn w/ a RoundUp applilcation and then start over w/ slice seeding etc. Is this the only way to get rid of creeping bent grass or "green" it up from the gorund up? We have a very large backyard...My husband and I are beside ourselves...Help!
