This pic shows the color change as the flowers age...opening quite a lovely orange/red with purple throat and fading to the lighter shades...lovely!!!

Well photographed. How did you picture both phases if a flower only lasts a day?

Thank-you! The blooms on my plant last up to 3 days...depends on heat, rain, how many flowers are open at a not all last one day like Daylilies or something. I often have flowers in many stages and colors like in the photo, and since it always seemed especially pretty to me - I thought I would share... :-)

(It is hot enough here I've only seen doubles last longer than a single day- pretty fried even then,)
