I would appreciate your advice on paint color for the dining room.
The room is 10 1/2 ft wide and about 14 1/2 long with one wall in the corner on an angle. Quite open concept with cathedral ceilings which reach a peak of 10 1/2 ft.
This teak wall unit pretty well covers one wall. The next wall is wood panelled. I know that I've been advised to paint it out by several people, but fact is I like it. The room faces south; so except on dreary days it has light - especially in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. The wood panelling blends well with my teak furniture, but the final reason is that it is the ultimate in low maintenance walls. In 36 years I have never had to do a thing to it. So IT STAYS!
