Has anyone installed a "flush-up" toilet in the basement?
We'd like to add a toilet in our basement and would like to have it done reasonably.
What kind of plumber do we need? Where do we find this kind of toilet?

My son put one in my basement bathroom for me. He jack hammered up the floor and installed this round cylinder grinding machine. It is called a sewage ejection pit. The waste lines run into it and then it grinds the waste up and pumps it outside into the septic.

He is just a regular master plumber. I don't think you need anyone special for it. It works just fine. I also had him put in one of those super flushing toilets. It is low water and it has a motor in the back that pushes the waste down. It never gets plugged up. It makes a loud 'whoosh' sound though like the commercial toilets make.

Right now he is putting me in a handicapped shower and redoing my whole master bathroom. I'm so glad to have him for my son. :)
