Gardenwife, thanks so much for the free 411 number. At least twice a month (at $1.75 per call through Verizon) I have needed to call directory assistance. You saved me at least $42 a year... bless your heart! :) Another great phone number to have it (800) 555-Tell (called "Tell Me" or Fandango) which offers free weather reports, driving directions, sports scores, movie times, and other information. It does have some functional glitches, but hey, it's free! Speak clearly because it's voice automated and you don't want your request for Bangor, Maine to be answered with the way to Phoenix. :)
