I received some huge potatoe tubers, 'Margarita'/lime-green and the darker variety, 'Blackie'. Do I cut these up and sit the eyes in water? What about the cut end exposing the meat of the potato? Wouldn't it rot? I think the tubers are too large for one glass of water. I'm hoping someone can advise me how to get more than one plant from each tuber.
