My Dad was getting rid of this bench and so I inherited it. Gladly since I have been wanting a bench for some time and the price was right! (free) They had it in a semi-sheltered place on their porch. I know that they have repainted it at least once and as you can see the seat is peeling again. I would really like to put it out in the yard but I don't want it to look awful. So here are a few of my questions.
Should I just sand it down and repaint? try to strip all the old paint off and try a stain and protective coating or another sort? and which sort should it be? Thoughts/opinions more than welcome
