While shopping I ran across bedding made of bamboo fibers. It felt so soft and I was very tempted to give it a try. I am wondering if anyone has used this kind of bedding. It is quite expensive and I'd like to know if it really stands up to wear and washing/drying.
I am answering my own question. I broke down and bought a set of sheets made of bamboo. I have had them about 6 months now, and love them. I wash them and put them back on the bed again. My husband won't let me put any other sheets on the bed!
I saw an ad in Penney's flyer for bamboo towels.
I'm glad to hear about your experience--I've seen them too and have thought about buying some because I like the idea of sustainability/environmental friendliness, but I was afraid they might be really scratchy or something, or fall apart in the washer, something like that! But now that I know they're OK maybe I'll go buy some!
