Hi all,

I was told this could be in the genus Thunbergia, and it looks like it, from examining pics in the database. Can anyone give me a species ID?

I saw this in Yelapa, Mexico, in October.

Thanks!
-Jess

So I take it that some variation in the petal and leaf shape doesn't mean it's a different species...? Some of the user submitted pics seem pretty different...

There may be some variations, but I'm not aware of any specific cultivars. Yours is definitely a grandiflora. I used to have one until I realized that if left alone it would take over my yard and house in a matter of weeks. It grew a foot and a half a day without exaggeration.
