ParentsChoice from Walmart work very well...just got a size 1 pack of 56 for under $6!
I tried Luvs and liked that they are a little taller than the same size generic (ParentsChoice) but they seem to be the only diaper maker who used the sticky tabs...the velcrow style tabs seem to hold up better.
Baby Wipes
I have noticed Huggies are the thickest. Pampers are kinda thin.
Bottles
Went out and bought every kind under the sun but found the the FREE sample from the hospital was the best: it is the SOOTHIE brand. It has a flat head with the nipple coming out from that so baby gets a good suction on it the first time...seems to be less leaking while bottle feeding from this style.
Baby Shampoos/Soaps
We'd been using all the "fun" scented ones that had been given us but they hardly sud up at all. Tried Johnson and Johnson this morning (in the pink bottle) and it was sooo foamy it was wonderful!
