We have built a outside building with a wood burner.
we build a box with a fan in it and ran a 4" corregated pipe underground but it is not getting the heat into the other building it is cool. My question is how do we insulate the undergroung pipe. Our outside building is so hot I can't stand wasting all the heat. HELP

Sounds like a bigger fan is what you need.

How deep is the pipe buried?

The only insulation I know of that would work is the flexible foam underlayment for vinyl siding. You'd have to wrap it maybe 3X around to get any insulating value.

Linda ..

Is this a DIY wood burner unit or a 'brand' unit that's been installed?

What is the distance between the wood burner and the other building you're trying to heat ?
