Was given this plant from a friend, she didn't know the name of it and neither do I. It has settled in well and I would like to know it's name. I just call it ' the bright yellow daisy '.

It's a coreopsis of some sort, looks like one of the 'lanceleaf' varieties.

Suze, thanks so much for giving it a name. I had a look at that link but had to google the name for images and found it there. A lot of varieties and I did find that it was one of the daisy family which I thought it might have belonged to.

Glad that helped. If you look at pages 1, 2, and 3, you'll find plenty of images. There just aren't many on the fourth page.

iam sure no one gives a ... but coreopsis is a weed in blue mountains nsw. found by roadsides..
