Palms and Cycads: Chusan Help/Info

I have four beautiful Chusan palms in my yard. One of them (about 7' trunk) was planted too close to the house and needs to be transplanted. How do they respond to transplanting and when is the best time to do so? I am located in the PNW. Thanks.
