I purchased some Stonehook landscape concrete molds late summer, to make a small patio in our backyard, (you make the pavers yourself from ordinary concrete) it was easy and way cheaper, I was able to make quite a few stones before it really got really cold, outside anyway, I will be ready to lay some stones down in the spring, my question is our backyard has a slight slope away from the house, when I start to lay the pavers down I would like to level the patio a bit more is it ok to level the crushed stone but leave the soil sloping away so I have a more level patio ?

Yes you can add more or less stone as needed to level your patio. But remember you do want slope away from your house on the patio. About 1/2"-1" per 4' is good. It sounds like runoff may not be a problem for you. Good Luck. Rob
