Everyone,

Thanks for jumping on the bandwagon. I know there were several people who had concerns about just having a "poppies" forum - and I tend to agree that it can dilute an otherwise large list that already exists.

However, poppies are unique and multi-specied, and ... in some places ... illegal :) So what a better area to get some talk going.

I have decided to dedicate half of my veggie garden to poppies in Feb (I am in Texas) and by the time they are dying off, I can plow it down and put some of the later growing veggies in its place. I'll get a "two-fer" for the season in an area where nothing would happen anyway.

Multiple species and variants will go in ... and I have bunny proofed it this time ... hehehe.
