The 2007 Brent and Becky is now on line and they have a nice selection. I ordered a few tonight of the mini's and species as well as a nice soft blue one. Patti

Patti, I tried to look at Brent & Becky's to see which blue one it was you got, but I can't get it at the moment, I keep getting an Error504 notice, timed out. I wonder if they are too busy! They do seem to stock some of the best varieties.

Which blue was it you ordered?

Wallaby1 I just checked today and the site is now working. The one I ordered is a very pale one called, surprisingly, 'Blues' - "very unusual color of pale blue, fading to white in the throat; late blooming" I ordered the Gladiolus species,'nanus 'Halley' and a couple of the dwarfs Flevo Jive, and Flevo Dancer. There are only a couple I don't have or can't get from my wholesaler.
I am going to offer some bulbs for trade this spring. Can't ship until after May 1 because of chance of freezing.
I will post more later.

Self analysis is good, but you maybe being too harsh. I think of your work as necessary to the common good of all of DG members. Carry on! Here is a copy of the 'Blues' from Brent and BeckyPatti

Nice to see what they look like Patti, thanks.

The Great Western catalogue I have lists those, not Blues though but they do have some very nice sounding specials which I can't find pics for.

I have just emailed them for availability, they don't do an online order.

Of course I would love to go totally mad and buy all sorts, but decided to restrict it to a few, after all I DO have all those lovely species!

I caught the end of season sale last year (50% off) and got the variety Theresa. I potted them in a big cobalt blue pot and they are starting to emerge:) I'm going to try to catch that sale again this year--I believe it was around May or June...

Check out the Classified Ads for some glads available (gorgeous not as common ones) for a great price and for a really good cause;)
