We're new to flower growing and FM. We'll be selling at a new FM this summer; we need lots of help! I was picking out seeds today and was wondering if we should plant flower seeds a week or two apart to ensure that we have a constant supply of fresh cuts. This market is only on Sundays and since its new, we have no idea how busy it may be. How much should we plant is another dilemma. Would an acre of flowers keep us supplied for a one day market? Florists in the area have also expressed interest in our flowers. One florist said that they prefer unusual flowers. They said to bring them in and they would take a look at what we are offering. How do we price flowers when selling them to flower shops? Lots of questions, sorry. Thanks.
