We went to an auction today at a local greenhouse. One of the lots we bought were hundreds of jiffy pots and pellets and a lot of outdated seeds. The few packs of seeds that I looked at were dated 2005. We could plant some of them with sunflowers for kids to give away at market or give a pot and a pack of seeds to kids. The kids may bring their parents to our stand because they are attracted to a freebie. It would be neat to let kids plant their own, but that may be too time consuming. I thought it would be neat to get kids interested in gardening at a young age.
This lot included windowsill greenhouses that might be good for flowers or herbs. Thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.
