I have one of my own Patty's Plum crossed with Royal Wedding in flower NOW!

The stem is only around 3" tall, there is another just popped through with it's pod already pushed off, it must have been in such a hurry to come up and open it got dragged off as it came through, still green!

I think there is another pod behind the leaf to the right which I didn't see.

Mild weather we are having, but we have also had colder spells in between. I had one very late one on another plant in late autumn. It's been up to 13C (56F). some days to 10C or just above (50F), many in the low to mid 40'sF. That's still not warm enough for them to flower! They usually flower from late May to June, with occasionally the odd later one.

Monday we are forecast 4C (39F) with snow!
