Hi! I'm new to this forum, and I've cross-posted this on "Garden Art"; I'm interested in what everyone here has to say.
Jax and I (here he his, taking a break with his saw) cut some small trunks of birch that are taking over my pond's south side (where I'd like to plant something else). As you can see, they are all at least 3' long. relatively straight, and fairly thick- maybe 2' diameter. I have LOTS more to cut. I just sort of cut through my power cord today-- that's a way to bring things to a screeching halt.
I have an arbor, I'm not sure where I'd put a fence.. but these are too nice to toss on the brush pile. I'm artistic, but not an advanced woodworker. I do have a circular and jig saws, though.
