| How exciting to see a cormorant Resin! I have seen them on the river here in Kingsport and would love to get a photo some time. (which will mean venturing out of the yard lol.)
Grasmussen, as always a wonderful clear photo. Ravens certainly are impressive to see. I am going to take your suggestion and try to arrange some branches near the feeders for the birds to perch on. I think that is a great idea as all my shots seem to show the same 2 or three feeders.
I don't have much to contribute today as it was another work day and again, the light is waning. I have added some raisins back to the almost empty tray feeder and the mockingbird is the first taker. I moved the other feeders closer to the window and the other birds haven't returned yet.

| I will add my today's photos. This is a blustery, rainy day with heavy overcast. The birds are very jittery and I missed more than I got, as many times they left too soon.

I just purchased a Photoshop Elements 5.0, and I've been playing with it. When I saw your last pic was a little hazy, I was curious to see what would happen to the haze, if I ran your shot through the auto smart fix program. This is the result. Click the image for an enlarged view.

| lilyfantan: No, I merged the Nuthatch pic i posted using HP image zone. But, I was able to improve it with some really neat touch up feature's in Photoshop 5. Still haven't tried the merge features in Photoshop, only been using it for two days.
trois: It might be the monitors, because there is much improved detail on what I am seeing. I'm using HP's 21" monitor, so I am seeing a lot of detail. But, even with the two thumbnails next to each other above, there is a significant improvement.
The program can turn a very good shot into an excellent one, as far as details are concerned. However, a seriously blurred shot is hope less. |

| Okay guys !
I wish to see something more exiting, the my usual birds, but till spring , that will have to do.
At least I know , that much about him.: It is HE and he is claiming this territory and me as the food supplier of with it.
We both agreed to the terms, which are:
Lots of peanuts (crownuts, as I call them)
some amount of zupreem monkey chow
dog food always there ( I would prefer cat food , as being closest one to birds digestive/nutrisions/ratio goes, but is more expansive)
and some wax/meal worms in baby season
In return I get to make pics of him and his flock
they will come, when called upon, if they are off the site
I get introduced to more of his relatives
they will fallow me around the neighborhood and to the park
If I m coming home from whatever, they will come and sit around (see the peanuts miracle???) LOL
Well there is more to that story then that...but wanna make it short
Gonna be beautiful day everybody, I wish that upon all !
