Here is this week's installation from Hilton Pond. And it is on backyard birds! BTW, I subscribe to this (it is free) and receive weekly newsletters, which are always very informative. The photos are awesome.

ceejay-- thanks so much for pointing out the article and that we can subscribe. I have been to the Hilton Pond site many times and didn't realize we could get on their list and receive such fascinating articles.

I thought this article was interesting because he mentioned the birds' 'eyes' and their aging process.
