I have signed a contract to buy a buy a house that will be available in 3 months. I searched that house on my own and then found a realtor that can see the paper work through. He also signed the paper work for the house as my realtor. I have gotten in bad terms with the realtor now and don’t want him to represent me any more. He hasn’t done anything till today for me i found the house, i did all the building decisions etc. The only thing he did was to come one day to the builder’s office and sign the paper work with me. I don’t have any contact with him, haven’t signed any paper work with him.
I want someone else to represent me who will help in the future process of closing the house etc. My question is that can i get another realtor and ask the builders to the commission to him. Since i don’t have any paper work with the old realtor i am not obligated to him, the only issue is that he has signed the papers at the builders office.
I want the realtor who will help me to be paid the commission and not the old realtor.
much thanks
