We upgraded to DISH system that allows us to watch a diff station on each (2)tv. Well, the remote for the 2nd tv is messed up and I was trying to reprogram it and finally called DISH for help. After working w/ a DISH rep for 15 min he said we need to have a tech come to our home. WHAT? for another $29 it will be reprogrammed. Why can't a DISH tech do it over the phone? Any one else have such a problem ?
I have never had a problem with my Dish remotes but the receiver became inoperable just as the warranty expired. The replacement cost was $100.00. No problems since then. I switched from cable long ago and prefer the satellite system.
