I have a few spots where the drywall is sagging from the ceiling and I need to re-attach it. The damage resulted from roof shingles blown loose by the hurricanes. the roof has been repaired, but I need to repair the ceilings. Do I use a drill with drywall screws? Can I use an electric brad nailer? I know how to do the taping/mud part. thanks for any expert who can give me advice.

A brad nailer won't help you, there's no head to support the weight of the ceiling. You can use a drill and drywall screws, just make sure the screw heads are sunk to where they need to be.
It sounds like the sheetrock might be too warped, you might want to cut out the sagging parts and replace them...
