I am curious how to find land available to lease. Am interested in 1-5 acres in St. Louis or St. Charles County (Missouri).

Also, it seems like it would be financially more beneficial to a farmer to deer fence an area and offer leases of 1/2 acre plots to public. They could have water access to each plot with meter and bill leasee. Certainly in an area like St. Louis there would be enough demand to lease all the spots and gardeners would probably pay more than another farmer leasing the land. Has anyone had experience with a program like this anywhere else?
