I have multiple blue SKY vodka bottles that I obtained over the years. They are dark blue and would make a wonderful project, I just don't know what that project could be. Any suggestions? The bottles are about the size of a 2-liter soda bottle. Beautiful glass.

I don't think the tree is what I'm after - I want something else. Just don't know what. I think about cutting the Skyy Bottles just before they taper up and use them in rope hangers to put in trees for small birdbaths. But I need mosaic ideas too. I just don't know what I can do with them...need more suggestions

Hello Kathy,

Pepper, thanks for the mention! (HUG)

Kathy, if you have a wet tile saw, you could make these with the
tops of the bottles:

Or, you could visit this link for other ideas:

You could make a peppermill with one of them.

How about using the bottoms for drinking glasses, planters,
pencil cups, etc. Put a few pebbles in the bottoms for drainage,
then add a plant and soil.

Just a few thoughts.

This is really neat:

Earrings made from Skyy bottles!
Don't worry, the entire bottle is not going to dangle
from your ear, just a tiny drop made by melting a piece
of the glass. LOL.

I used some beautiful blue glass bottles for stepping stones. Was a waste of beautiful bottles since you only see the bottoms.
I dug a hole and buried the bottles neck down so that the bottom of the bottle was at ground level. I had an old rusted gear from a well drilling machine and used this on the ground as an edge and the bottom of the bottles filled the inside of the gear. I filled around the bottles with fine gravel.
