| Congratulations, Amy! I just came across this forum and saw the Fairhope tag! Greetings for 10 miles east! That is what dreams are for, right? To come true!
I'm a lurker who one day wants to get back to painting. I've done some watercolor work about 30 years ago!! and egg tempera and acrylic Icon painting a few years back.

| Arlan, I am glad you joined in. That must mean you are working up to painting again. Egg tempera, wow not that is impressive. I went to an art opening Friday evening and one of the women in the show did egg tempera paintings. They were so detailed and beautiful, I was very impressed. If course I have studied the egg tempera in art history, but never tried it and have never been much of a painter so I won't start now.

| Atenkley, WOW!!!!! Robertsdale that really is a stones throw. If you are everlooking to get into acrylics of oils d-mail me. At least we could grab a cup of coffee at Page and Palette, where the http://www.fairhopestreetartists.com hang out and paint, have workshops, and well, just hang out like excentric (jut loveable)artists do. Maybe it would get you motivated. Hope to hear from you. |

| Thanks for the invite Amy and that does sound like it would be loads of fun and as much as I’d like to join in, it’s a little too short of a notice. Not to mention that my granny is having her 90th b-day party this weekend and I’d be in heaps of hot water if I missed that. lol
Also thanks for the offer to pass out some of my cards and info. I wouldn’t want to take any potential business from you, but like you say if someone is in my area and you have more than you can handle, I’d be happy to talk to them. I’ll shoot you a d-mail and may try to get you some cards if that’s not too much trouble for you?
Thanks again,
GD
