Thanks mgarr! It is nice to see a plant with more than just cream or white eggs. Mine is new and I only have 4 eggs coming on and they are all white. This gives me hope that mine will get its colored eggs too.

I think, if I remember right, as they get older they turn yellow.

Hi mgarr, from the information I have been able to discern from others at Dave's garden and other web sites the eggs actually can turn green; orange; yellow; and cream as they near harvest. Did you ever try to eat the eggs? The paper that came with mine says they are edible. Also were you able to keep your plant going this year? Pegleg2X

I tried to keep mine but the leaves began to drop and it just died. Enjoy your egg. Try to save seeds.

Hey mgarr, The plant has done extraordinary. It even survived the hurricane force winds we had after Ike came up the Ohio valley. If you want some seeds to try it again, i'll try to save some for you. Let me know. Fred
